Victoria Bernath is rising to the fore as one of Britain’s leading young violists, and world’s first violist-vocalist.
Her award-winning artistry has seen her perform as a soloist and chamber musician at venues across Britain, Canada, China, the United States and Germany including the Wigmore Hall (London), the National Centre for the Performing Arts (Shanghai) and the Concertgebouw (Bruges). Victoria is also active as a composer. She is the youngest, British female composer to have her work performed live for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
Victoria performs regularly with leading UK ensembles including the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
Victoria is an alumna of the Royal Academy of Music, a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Schools of Music and plays on a 1907 Azzoli viola.
